OpenSwiftApp is written and maintained by one person. There is no support desk, no ticket queue, and no phone number — email is the only channel, and it reaches a human directly.

What to write about

Corrections come first. If an article gets a fact wrong, names the wrong licence, or links to a project that has moved or been archived, that is worth an email. Accuracy matters more here than volume, and a correction is never an imposition.

Tips about open source apps for Apple platforms are welcome, especially projects that are actively maintained and have real users. A link to the repository is enough — there is no submission form, and no obligation to write anything up.

Questions about something an article covers are fine too, though replies take as long as they take. This is a blog run alongside other work, not a product with a response-time commitment.

What not to send

Please do not send paid link placements, guest-post pitches, sponsored content proposals, or requests to add commercial links to existing articles. They will not be answered. This site carries no advertising and no sponsored content, and that is deliberate — see the editorial independence note below.

Editorial independence

Nothing published here is paid for, and no company reviews or approves an article before it goes out. If a project is written about, it is because it seemed worth writing about. Where an article mentions a paid tier or a commercial product, that is information about the project, not a recommendation bought from anyone.

Privacy of your email

Email sent to the address above is read by one person and kept only as long as needed to deal with it. It is not added to a mailing list, not sold, and not shared. The Privacy Policy describes what the site itself collects when you browse it, which is separate from what you choose to send by email.
